A
while ago, we had the opportunity to fulfill our promise to Zauji's mother to visit relatives in her hometown, Purworejo, Central Java. We
had planned this plan years ago.
During the trip, it turned out that we got a surprise because the route
passed Ambal Beach, Kebumen, an alternative tour on the southern route
of Java.
Because this is a spontaneous visit, the destination address along with the route to be taken we only got one day before. Although Zauji's mother insists she still remembers the district to be visited, Zauji still have the opportunity to find information through other relatives remembering the memory. Zauji's mother was far away almost 25 years ago and of course the village destination has changed a lot.
Considering that the journey is quite far and this is the first time When we travel far, including when I have never felt the pleasure of going home, we leave at night by car. Thank God we got the driver, who is good and brings the car comfortably. Occasionally we rest in the mosque from what we went through. Initial calculation of time will take 5-6 hours but because often stopping, until 7 in the morning we just arrived at the Kebumen Regency area.
Route to the Beach
There are two routes we can take: through the city or along the long south. The beautiful view of the road on the south coast of Java welcomes you. Accidentally saw a signpost indicating that there is a beach
not far from the main road that we passed. Just to the right, not far from the highway, located in the village of Ambalsari, Kebumen Regency, Central Java, Pantai
Ambal charmed us all to stop by. By paying a parking fee of
Rp. 10,000.00 only, we can enjoy the beauty of the stretch of sand that stretches
500 meters long.
Clean Beach
Clean and beautiful beach. Not too many visitors,
plenty, so we could freely run along the beach undisturbed by other visitors. The crashing waves of the Indonesian Ocean greeted us. When compared to other beaches I've visited, Ambal Beach is well worth it as a tourist destination. The feeling of tiredness disappears instantly with the waves that touch our feet.
