To
be honest, Zauji and I very rarely travel to the Depok area except when
running errands from the office. Since it has been assigned several
times to this city, I and Zauji began to be able to determine the hotel
or inn that we could choose. Savero Depok Hotel is our favorite hotel.
Hotel Savero
Hotel Savero is a 3-star hotel in Jakarta, Bandung, Depok, and Bogor. Savero Hotel Depok is
under the auspices of KAGUM Hotel, a hotel management service that
expertly combines a deep understanding of Indonesia’s rich cultural and
stylish heritage with professional standards that adhere to exceptional
quality.
From
the outside, Hotel Savero has the hallmark of the building that is
white and classic European style so that it looks magnificent. So far,
the Sastop Hotel staff and employees are very friendly to us, either by
phone or while serving at the hotel.
From
the front, the Saverro Hotel courtyard looks relatively narrow, which
cannot accommodate many vehicles. The lobby area looks spacious because
the ceiling is designed high and decorated with circular stairs.
Location of Hotel Savero Depok
Savero Hotel Depok is located on Jalan Jl. Margonda No. 230A, Kemiri Muka, Beji Subdistrict, Depok City, West Java 16423. Savero Hotel Depok is a 3-star hotel. This is the reason why I chose Savero Hotel Depok when there is an activity in Depok because of its strategic location in the heart of the Depok business.
Hotel
Savero, located on Jalan Margonda, is very accessible when Menong friends
travel using travel such as Lintas Shuttle, Aragon, Pasteur Trans (from
Bandung), and small stations such as Pondok China Station. Zauji and I tried KRL to Ragunan Zoo. We also more often ride or walk from travel to reach the hotel.
Hotel
Savero is the first choice because Menong’s friends will easily find
culinary dishes (cafes, restaurants, tent stalls, or carts) along Jalan
Margonda, either fast food or traditional food. One of our favorite culinary dishes is rice mandhi, Rp. 15,000 per serving, located opposite the
hotel.
Among friends, you can also find minimarkets (Indomaret), cafes, market snacks,
fry sellers, tofu baso, and pempek only 5 meters to the left of the
hotel, and baso or bakeries to the right of the hotel. Menong
friends who want to take a walk to the mall can choose more than 4 malls
along Jalan Margonda, such as Depok Mall, Margo City, or Depok Town
Square.
An unforgettable experience. Because I often pay attention to the area around the hotel, Zauji and I are interested in trying pempek
in the roadside cart. The price is cheap, only Rp. 3000 per piece.
Actually, this is a type of Pempek dos, aka Pempek desa. The gravy tasted
good and fresh, so I finished it until it was all gone. Unexpectedly shortly
after, my stomach was in terrible pain. Suffocation and nausea just make meable to lie down. Before long, Zauji also felt the same way when
the next day we had to work. Zauji predicts our digestion is disrupted
because the pepchew is using vinegar.
Thankfully,
near the hotel there is a drugstore selling ulcer drugs. Thank God the
pain was reduced even though in the end we asked for permission to go
home earlier than the work that should have been completed within two
days. We decided to rest at the hotel until the condition improved
before returning to Bandung using travel.
Hotel Rooms Savero Depok
The new Savero Hotel was inaugurated on June 17, 2021, so it’s no wonder the building still looks new. This hotel has 91 guest rooms with rates starting from Rp. 600,000 on weekdays.
The Saverro Hotel Room is painted white with brown color, with the dominance of
European shades that increasingly display its splendor. Rooms are
divided into 3 types, namely Superior (20 m²), Deluxe (24 m²), and Suite.
For the size of the new hotel room, Savero has a relatively spacious room area, so there is still empty space for congregational prayers. The room has classic furniture in the form of an ornamental table in front of the mirror and an ornamental table next to the bed.
For Deluxe-type rooms, Menong’s friend will get an extra lounge chair next to the bed. The suite bathroom is equipped with a bathtub. The thing I love about this hotel is that it provides a hairdryer that is useful for Menong friends who rush to dry their hair.
Mengu
can book a room through the marketing of the hotel, the app, or the official website of Hotel Savero Depok. Among friends who order through the marketing, they can get a cheaper corporate price from the application,
including negotiations for payment via check-in, the type of room
desired (non-smoking, single/double/twin bed, no/with breakfast, view),
and others.
From
the experience, when I booked via the web, it turned out that the price
of a Deluxe room was equivalent to a Superior. The difference is the area
of the room is wider. It’s just that booking via the web requires direct
payment via transfer.
I gave a rating of 4.5/5 for the room.
Restaurants
The
restaurant Hotel Savero is located on the 1st floor, not far from the
reception and elevator. The resto area is not too large and has an
outdoor area. In terms of taste, the restaurant menu is quite tasty on
the tongue, even though there is no special menu that is our favorite.
The
last time we stayed at this hotel was in Ramadan. In terms of number
and taste for the menu to break the fast and sahur, the restaurant of
Hotel Savero is worth a thumbs up. Moreover, we get sahur facilities
(wrestling breakfast) and break the fast for two people (2 pax) at one
normal rate. Menong friends also get free takjil in the lobby area.
The
restaurant menu can also be enjoyed at a cost of Rp. 120,000 per person
over the age of 12 years, Rp. 60,000 for children aged 6–12 years, and
free for children under the age of 6 years.
I gave a rating of 4.5/5 for the restaurant menu.
Other Facilities
In
addition to limited parking lots, Hotel Savero also does not provide a
swimming pool. However, do not worry; Menong’s friends can exercise in a
free fitness center for guests. Menong friends who need a meeting room, Hotel Savero Depok an alternative.
