Hotels With Largest Rooms Part 1 - Just Menong

Frequently traveling out of town makes me and Zauji detail the description of the room we use when going to choose a hotel. From some of the cities that we had stopped by, we marked the hotel with the widest rooms that we summarized for all of Menong’s friends. Just check it out!

Semarang, Central Java

Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention

Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention is located on Jl. Sisingamangaraja, Candisari, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, 50252. To be honest, I fell in love with this hotel. This hotel, under the auspices of Pertamina’s subsidiary, does have a very spacious area and complete facilities such as parking, a swimming pool, and a playground.

In addition to the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus that I gave a rating of 5/5 (entering the hotel with the best food), I also gave a rating of 5/5 for the room that is super spacious.

Although it is listed as a 32 m² room area in the blue application, it feels like a room with a king-size bed, a sofa, two chairs and a table, and a TV table. Menong friends can also look at the outside area through a fairly large balcony. As cool as it is, the hotel provides a small clothesline in the balcony area that you can use to dry the towel or clothes. Unlike the hotel in general, the area around the bed is very large, so it can be used to gather while watching TV.

Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention (Source: industry.co.id)

Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention is located in an area surrounded by a very large open area with rows of bungalows, a spacious swimming pool, and a walking track. This hotel is also located not far from the culinary row and supermarkets, which will make it easier for friends to find other food alternatives.

Judging from the price rate, the Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention bungalow has a very decent price for Menong's friends to choose because the area is suitable for family lodging. At least I really like the fresh air, even though it is relatively hot for Bandung people like me.

Unfortunately, all the photos in Semarang cannot find traces of it.

Cianjur, West Java

VIP Hotels  

The VIP hotel is located near downtown Cianjur, precisely on Jalan KH. R. Abdullah Bin Nuh No. 189, Sawah Gede, Cianjur, Nagrak, Cianjur Subdistrict, Nagrak, Kec. Cianjur, Cianjur County. At first I was not so concerned about this hotel because I was not so impressed that I preferred the Gino Feruci Hotel.

Since Zauji wanted to enjoy a new atmosphere. Finally, we tried to choose this hotel. And unexpectedly, I fell in love with this one-story hotel with limited rooms.

In terms of price, VIP Hotel offers a fairly cheap rate for the best room, RP 375,000 with breakfast and RP 350,000 without breakfast. This is because the breakfast menu in this hotel is very minimalist, i.e., not many choices, because it is limited to fried rice, fried noodles, or toast only. But in terms of room area, VIP hotels are worth giving a rating of 5/5 for hotels with the widest rooms.

Just imagine Menong's friends can get a king-size bed with ample space on the right and left of the bed, chairs and carpets for congregational prayers or receiving guests, a table for dining, plus a cozy terrace to hang out.

Menong friends will get a welcome snack every day and can order food with a simple menu at a relatively cheap price, but some of them have a fairly good taste, such as chicken serundeng + rice with a price of Rp. 25,000 or instant noodles with a price of only Rp. 15,000, which is certainly cheaper than the price of the hotel restaurant menu in general.

VIP hotels are also located not far from Citimal or minimarkets and culinary centers so that Menong friends do not have to worry about finding other foods.

Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands

Hotel Comforta

Hotel Comforta is located on Jalan Adi Sucipto, km 10, Tanjung Pinang, Tanjung Pinang Timur, Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands, Indonesia. Comforta hotels include old hotels in Tanjung Pinang. From the outside, it will look physically, which is still nuanced in the 80s. The road to the hotel lobby is a bit uphill because the hotel area itself is in a place higher than the highway. Menong's friends will be greeted by a large lobby area and a wide staircase to the 2nd floor, where the guest room is located.

Unfortunately, there is no elevator, so it is a little troublesome for Menong friends who have difficulty climbing stairs. I got a room on the 2nd floor. Although right next to my friend, it turns out that my room is much wider because it is located in the corner area.

Some rooms on the 2nd floor have a balcony facing directly the empty area or porch on the 2nd floor, so it must be ensured that the balcony door is locked at all times for security. When carrying a family, usually a balcony area like this is a favorite. It's just that the balcony terrace blends into one area for several rooms so as to reduce privacy.

But do not worry; Menong friends can also choose a room in the outdoor area, especially when staying with family. Outdoor rooms are close to the pool area, so it is suitable to be used as a recreation area.

I personally prefer this hotel because it is in an urban area that makes it easy for us to find our own food. Across the street, rows of shops and culinary establishments. We had time to enjoy the cuisine of Padang and the batagor typical of Bandung (as in the writing in the cart), which is super good because the taste of the fish is very strong.

I gave a rating of 4.5/5 for Hotel Comforta, Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands.

Bandung, West Java  

Grand Asrilia Hotel Convention & Restaurant

Grand Asrilia Hotel Convention & Restaurant is located on Jl. Student Fighter 45 No. 123, Turangga, Kec. Lengkong, Lengkong, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, 40264. This hotel includes an old hotel that stands in the city of Bandung. One thing I like is a sizable mosque located in the hotel courtyard, something rare.

Grand Asrilia Hotel Convention & Restaurant is located not far from the Buah Batu area so that Menong friends have many culinary alternatives or department stores. Menong's friends can visit Trans Studio Bandung, which is no more than 2 km away.

I got a room with a king-sized bed. Not to mention the empty space on the right and left of the bed. For me, who has to sleep alone because Zauji cannot accompany me, the area of the room actually makes it uncomfortable.

But for Menong’s friends who bring family, especially children, this hotel can be an option. Moreover, this hotel is equipped with a super spacious swimming pool area with a long slide, making children feel at home for a long time.

It’s just that because Grand Asrilia includes the old hotel, the atmosphere of the corridor to the room and the front is very spacious, making the guts a little snail when you have to walk alone. I gave this hotel room 4.5/5.
