Frequently
traveling out of town makes me and Zauji start memorizing the pattern
of some hotels that are affordable, convenient to live in, and have restaurant menus that we like. We also unconsciously have a list of hotels with the
best food we have ever stopped by.
Bandung, West Java
Hotel De Java Bandung
This
hotel is located on Jl. Sukajadi No. 148-150, Pasteur, Kec. Sukajadi,
Bandung, West Java 40162, precisely opposite Paris Van Java Mall. At
first glance, this hotel does not look conspicuous, so even though Zauji
and I often pass through the Sukajadi area, we never noticed this
hotel.
De
Java Hotel is on a one-way road, so Menong’s friends have to take the
route from the direction of Pasteur, turn to the right, and continue
straight. Stay in the left lane entering the Sukajadi Road. The hotel is
on the right. For Menong friends who intend to stay between the city of
Bandung and the road to Lembang, this hotel may be an option.
Located
on streets full of shady trees, De Java is a 4-star hotel. In the
blue application, the lowest rate is in the 800K range with a fairly
spacious room of 28 m² for all room types. The room is equipped with a
large sofa to relax on.
This
hotel also has swimming pool facilities; just the location right in
front of the ballroom makes anyone feel awkward if you want to
swim, but the ballroom is being used for an activity.
So
far, Zauji and I have placed Hotel De Java as one of the hotels with
the best food menus in Bandung. The size of the restaurant is not too
wide, and the number of menus presented is not too many, which does not reduce
De Java to being one of the favorite hotels in Bandung.
Almost
all the menu flavors that we try for breakfast, lunch, or dinner are
very indulgent dishes, such as fried rice or meatball noodles.
Unfortunately, we no longer have photos. For the taste in the restaurant
of this DeJava hotel, we give a rating of 4/5.
Jakarta, DKI Jakarta
Luminor Hotel Jakarta
Hmmm,
the Luminor Hotel restaurant is really the champion and got the top
ranking in my heart. Hotel Luminor is located on Jalan Mangga Besar Raya
No. 73, Taman Sari, Mangga Besar, Taman Sari, Jakarta, Indonesia, 11180.
The
hotel has a curleb rate of 1.2 million per night in the blue app for
deluxe rooms with an area of 21 m². Unfortunately, Luminor does not have
swimming pool facilities, so it will slightly disappoint Menong’s
friends who like to swim.
However,
in terms of resto, I give a rating of 5/5. The breakfast menu in Luminor
is very diverse. Menong friends can try a variety of archipelago food, from Asia over to the West, that changes every day. And it feels no less
amazing.
Since
I spent a long time in Luminor, comparing it to other hotels, Luminor
has a special feature because of the menu, and the taste is always outstanding. I even enjoyed stir-frying bitter melon and bark skin that I rarely encountered.
Ice
cream, takoyaki, Asian food, and various soto, including cilok, became our
favorite menu. And it's great for every lunch and dinner; the menu is
always special, as it's like the breakfast menu. It is not wrong if the
Luminor Hotel is named as a hotel with the best food.
Semarang, Central Java
Patra Semarang Hotel & Convention
Patra
Semarang Hotel & Convention is located on Jl. Sisingamangaraja,
Candisari, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, 50252. To be honest, I
fell in love with this hotel. This hotel, under the auspices of
Pertamina’s subsidiary, does have a very spacious area and complete
facilities such as parking, a swimming pool, and a playground.
The
room is very spacious (it looks like more than 32 m² as shown in the
blue app) and features a king-size bed, a sofa, two chairs and a table, a TV
table, and a balcony. And no elevator will take guests to the second
floor.
Even
so, the fatigue paid off with the cool air in the middle of the heat of
Semarang for the people of Bandung like me. Menong's friends can try
the atmosphere while walking in the morning around the hotel area. There
was one incident that had made us panic. I found a snake that was 'santuy' twisted right behind the desk where I was moving. Thank God the
hotel officers acted quickly.
Hotel Patra is on the ground floor. Among friends, they can choose the outdoor
area while enjoying the outside view of the hotel. This breakfast menu
is also given a rating of 5/5 because it serves a very varied and tasty
dish on the tongue. My favorite menu is fried rice and mini pizza. If
I'm not in a hurry, I feel at home enjoying the breakfast atmosphere
while going back and then tasting other dishes.
Makassar, South Sulawesi
Hotel Dalton Makassar
Hotel
Dalton Makassar is located on Jl. Pioneering Independence No. Km 16,
Pai, Kec. Biringkanaya, Makassar City, South Sulawesi 90243. This hotel
is worth it for Mentong friends to choose while enjoying the beauty of Makassar.
What
I like about Hotel Dalton is its menu that serves a lot of Sulawesi
specialties that are certainly 'paradise' for me, who likes seafood.
Although
other breakfast menus are usually, or even seem to revolve around, one type,
such as deep-fried champry flour, Mage Menong can enjoy fish
with a savory taste because it is still fresh. For Menong friends who do
not like spicy food, these menus are considered less suitable. I gave a rating
of 4/5 for Hotel Dalton Makassar.
Bekasi, West Java
Hotel Santika Bekasi Mega City
Hotel
Santika Bekasi Mega City is located on the rooftop of the 5th Floor Mega Bekasi
Hypermall, Jl. Ahmad Yani No. 1, Bekasi, West Java 17141. For those who
bring a vehicle, Menong friends can go directly to the rooftop. But for those who do not bring a vehicle, Menong’s friends can enter through the entrance of Mega City Mall.
While
washing the eyes, Menong's friends can take the elevator at the back of
the mall, which is directly connected to Hotel Santika on the 5th floor.
In terms of room area, I feel that Hotel Santika does not have spacious
rooms, even though the blue application lists the room area as 23–26 m².
Although it seems not too spacious, facilities such as swimming pools and fitness are available for guests.
The breakfast menu is always tempting because it varies with different menus every day, such as pizza, fish cake (a
kind of brain-brain), and blueberry muesli. We even tasted zuppa zuppa and
herbal medicine at breakfast. We gave a rating of 4.5/5 for the menu at
Hotel Santika Bekasi Mega City.
Actually,
the menu at the hotel restaurant is relatively the same as heavy food
(rice and its friends), bread and pastry, porridge, fruits, eggs, and
drinks (tea, coffee, and cider). But in some hotels, the variety of menus
and flavors becomes a differentiator that can be a friend of Menong's choice. Which best-time hotel has you ever visited by Menong’s best
