There
are no people who do not know Lembang, a famous tourist area in the
north of the city of Bandung. For travelers from outside Bandung,
looking for cheap but comfortable lodging is important. Rumatra Guest
House Lembang can be an option because of its strategic location.
Location of Lembang Home
Rumaterra
Guest House is located on Jl. Raya Tangkuban Parahu No. 22, Kayuambon, Kec.
Lembang, West Bandung Regency, West Java 40391, and is not far from
Lembang Square and Lembang Market.
From
outside, Rumaterra Guest House looks like an ordinary old-school house in the 70s with white paint with a combination of brick red paint. No
wrong, because according to the story, one of the owners, originally Rumahterra,
It is a family home that is now managed to be a guest house.
The location, which is right on the side of the big road, makes it so Menong's friends will not have difficulty trying out the typical culinary offerings of Lembang, such as glutinous rice, pure milk, and others. Moreover, the guest house is quite close to the outlets Tahu Tawhid, Tahu Susu
Lembang, and other culinary spots. Minimarkets and various foods such as porridge
chicken, lontong curry, kupat tofu, and yellow rice to typical restaurant Sunda or

Congestion, especially on weekends. The streets in front of the Rumattera are included in the
traffic-prone points, especially the path from the direction of Mount Tangkuban Perahu towards
Bandung. What's more, the Lembang Market area—Grand Hotel Lembang implements
one line with the system open.
Even if
Menong's friends were forced to use online transportation, pay attention to whether
the road conditions in front of the hotel are smooth. When conditions are stuck, help
drivers find a convenient pick-up point because, believe me, it takes time to just turn the direction/deflect the vehicle on the street Lembang
Super Solid.
Room Rumaterra Guest House
I did the booking directly by phone because I and Zauji have no clue at all
about this guesthouse. Thank goodness the officer responded quickly
A ceiling that is not too high, large windows, white paint combined with
shades of chocolate on walls and furniture—everything reminds me of the house.
In the 1980s, when I was a kid.
Friends can
find the nicks of the bahuela era that are still maintained, like a landline,
classic radio, or guest chair with his hard seat. I like the details that are unique. A combination of colors hit ceramic motifs and ornaments on the walls. It feels like
I want to take pictures in every corner.
We chose the room
on the 2nd floor. There are no elevators in this guesthouse so we reconsider.
To invite Mother Zauji to stay here. Hotel attendants escort us

It is named after a unique Sundanese language.
Finally, we
choose a Tiasatiluan-type room (which can be a three-language Sunda) with a kurleb area of 30 m² facing the highway with one double bed and one folding sofa. Floor rooms with shades of brown wood without carpet give the impression of cold (when the weather in Lembang is already cold).
In the corner of the room there is
the current white shelf where the teapot, glass, and toiletries are. Unfortunately,
there are no electric buttons. Menong's friends who need warm water can ask for it
from the officer via WhatsApp because there is no room call.
Room windows are large and without vitrase, making us close the curtain all the time worried about being visible from the road. Folding sofas can be used to sit and sleep.
The position of watching TV is uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, double
bed in this room is not comfortable because (apparently) the per part has started to sag.
It makes me sloppy every time I try to lie down. Zauji and I decided
to sleep on a folding sofa and leave an empty bed.
Bathroom:
regular size with a shower and warm water.
Room rates range from Rs. 200,000 to Rs. 450,000, including breakfast, which is cheap for the size of the tourist area.
I gave a rating of 3.5/5 for the room because the bed is not comfortable.
Restaurants
Rumaterra
Guest House does not have a special restaurant. There's only one small cafe in the section-side guesthouse, which also serves as a breakfast place with the concept of
open space. Round table chairs and tables are available in numbers that are not a lot.
The menu
There is only fried rice plus egg ceplok, which tastes ordinary. But friends,
Menong can order another dish in this cafe with a varied menu,
such as goat sugar, maranggi satay, tomyum, various coffees, and juice that tastes
super tasty.
The price is also relatively cheap for the size of the inn. Especially in the cold of Lembang.
I gave a rating of 3.5/5 for the breakfast menu and 5/5 for the menu in this cafe.
Facilities other
Like a concept
guesthouse in general, there are not many facilities available other than wifi in the area in general (I forgot if there was wifi in the room). There was no room phone, but officers
Gercep responded via WhatsApp. Parking is also not so large; it just can accommodate fewer than 10 cars.
Rumaterra Guest House gives
early check-in and late check-out service with additional fees that are still affordable. In addition to the bed (especially in my room, which I forgot to convey when
meeting the owner of the guesthouse) that is sluggish, this guesthouse is worth considering when traveling to Lembang.
