Yello
Hotel Paskal Bandung is one of the hotels in Central Bandung. It is not
far from the city center. To be honest, I did not know this hotel
before because, as a Bandung person, I only know some famous hotels.
Location of Hotel Yello
Hotel
Yello is located in the area of Paskal Hyper Square, precisely on Jalan
Pasirkaliki No. 25, Bandung. This hotel is located in a shopping complex
and mall not far from Bandung station and, of course, the shopping area
in the center of Bandung (Pasar Baru Trade Center, Yogya Kepatihan, King
Shopping Center, Tamim fabric store, and traditional Andir market).
Not
only that, this hotel is located not far from the two big hospitals in
the city of Bandung, namely Santosa Central Hospital and Kebonjati
Hospital. Menong's friend can get out at the Pasteur toll gate, then
turn right at the crossroads of the Pasirkaliki (RS. Hasan Sadikin)
under the path of the Pasopati kite.
This
strategic location makes this hotel a favorite choice of local and
foreign tourists. And one of the reasons is to be right next to the
Paskal Mall, one of the big malls in Bandung. Actually, I myself just
realized the existence of this mall because, indeed, the area of
Pasirkaliki is not my ‘colony’ area.
The
entrance of the Paskal area can be accessed from two different roads:
Jl. Pasirkaliki (must be noticed by Menong's friends who come from the
direction of Bandung Station; it will be difficult to turn towards the
Paskal Hyper Square area because there is a road divider) and from Jl.
Kebon Jati for Menong's friend who came from the direction of Cimahi.
When he first visited, Zauji had difficulty dropping me in front of the
hotel because the traffic lanes within the Paskal Hyper Square area were
confusing.
For
Menong friends who use online transportation, make sure the pick-up
point is easy to find. Just tips: the easiest pick-up point is to use
the entrance of the mall.
Yell Hotel Room
Hotel
Yello Paskal Bandung is a 3-star hotel. The hotel lobby is one floor
above the entrance. Upon entry into the hotel area, Menong’s friends
will be greeted with a sekur and directed to take the elevator to the
1st floor. The hotel is designed with a contemporary touch. Menong's
friends can see it when they arrive at the hotel lobby. Similarly, the
yellow-uniformed hotel crew greeted us with casual style and appearance.
This
white hotel gives a bright impression that makes the hearts of
visiting guests get cheerful. The room area ranges from 22 to 25 m2,
including medium-sized rooms for tourist-type rooms that usually range from 18 to 20 m2.
The
floor of the room is not covered in carpet. There was a long sofa in
the corner of our room. The
The work desk is only provided with minimalism.
The same goes for a closet or hanger without a lid. The 21-inch TV was
affixed to the wall. Don’t worry that TV channels are provided in
various communities, including from abroad.
There is a safe to store valuables that you can use.
One
thing that is different from other hotels is the presence of bright
yellow wall paintings that make the atmosphere of the room more vibrant.
The bathroom is small but not narrow, with shower facilities.
Another
thing that concerns me is the clues of the Qibla that are not in the
form of a straight line but in the form of arrows with arches (maybe the
intention to be more artistic), but it's confusing where the qibla is
actually 😕
The
price of the Yella Hotel Room is in the range of Rp. 600,000 for the
cheapest room, which does not include breakfast (preferably yes, the price). Among friends, they can choose a room with a city view with a price that is a
little more expensive.
I gave a rating of 4/5 for the room.
Restaurants
The
resto hotel Yello Paskal is located on the 1st floor, not far from the
lobby and meeting room. This restaurant includes the most beautiful
restaurant I've visited. The resto area is not so spacious, with a lot of
decorations but looks beautiful. The ceiling is decorated with blue and
yellow lights.
Breakfast
serves a different dish every day. Although there is not so much variety, the
taste is quite good for traditional, western, and Chinese food. Resto
also serves a variety of stir-fries that taste good.
One thing I noticed was that the plate is still yellow and there is a container of forks with a modern model. I gave a 4.5/5 rating for the rest of the hotel, Yello Paskal.
Other Facilities
The
outdoor pool is located on the 1st floor, not far from the restaurant.
The pool is large enough for children and adults. Menong's friends who
bring a vehicle will have difficulty parking because it unites with the
mall parking lot, including for those of us who use motorcycles.
Unfortunately,
there is no minimarket in the area of Yello Hotel Paskal Bandung, making
it difficult for Menong friends who want to shop for snacks or other
necessities. There are also no street vendors or rice stalls; instead, Menong’s friends can choose fast food during the mall opening.
Yello
Hotel Paskal Bandung can be a friend of Menong's choice if you intend to
spend vacation time around the city of Bandung, but it is not recommended
if the destination is in the area of Lembang (North Bandung) or Ciwidey
(South Bandung) because the distance is too far.
