Family Tourism in Bali part 1

When asked which tourist destination I most want to visit... the answer is Bali. Yup. For years, the wish has finally come true amidst the endless busyness of doing office work. Bali tourism for families is certainly next on the agenda.

It's not wrong if the charm of Bali never ends; Bali has become a tourist paradise for foreign and domestic tourists. Bali itself is the smallest province in Indonesia. However, the beauty of the beaches and unique arts and culture make Bali always offer something to be enjoyed. The beauty of Bali is not only the beach but also includes rice fields and tropical forests. No wonder, because this island of the gods is divided by rivers, canyons, and canals and decorated with tropical forests.

Balinese Residential House

The exoticism of Bali is colored by a culture that is still untouched by the times because of traditional ceremonies and religious rituals; the majority of Balinese are Hindus, never separated from everyday life.

Balinese residential houses alone have their own story. Divided into several sections with different functions, Balinese residences have procedures for placing land for residences and sacred buildings. The entire building is surrounded by a wall that separates it from the outside environment.

Panglipuran Village

Penglipuran Village in Bangli district is one of the traditional villages that has become a new tourist destination. Located at an altitude of 600–700 meters above sea level, Penglipuran village presents the uniqueness of an authentic Balinese village. The gates, roofs, and walls of the house show uniformity with the concept of blending with nature.

Like most villages in Bali, Penglipuran Village also has a temple complex. Like visiting a traditional village, Menong friends are certainly required to dress neatly and politely. There is a Balinese traditional sarong that Menong's friends can rent right in the bale in front of the temple complex.

Penglipuran Village offers a uniqueness that combines with the coolness full of the original peace of Bali. Besides seeing the atmosphere of the village, Menong's friends can buy souvenirs, which are sold directly at residents' homes.

Sangeh

Passing by the Sangeh tourism object, every time you are assigned to visit a school in Petang, Badung, you can't stand it if you don't stop by for a moment. Sangeh is a tropical forest of nutmeg trees that are hundreds of years old and inhabited by tame monkeys, Macaca fascicularis. These monkeys are used to interacting with humans.

Friends of Menong can take pictures with monkeys on their laps. But don't try to hug the monkeys; the handlers always warn you not to even just touch them. Let him climb on his own to the lap of Menong's friend.

This 10-hectare forest is also inhabited by various animals such as eagles, owls, mongooses, bobcats, and kestrels. In the forest area there is also the Bukit Sari temple, which is a relic of the Mengwi kingdom.

Art Center Bali—Taman Werdhi Budaya

One of the tourist attractions that reflects other Balinese culture is the Bali Art Center (Taman Werdhi Budaya), which is often used as a place for performing arts. This art center was initiated by the governor of Bali, Ida Bagus Mantra. Located in the east of Denpasar city, in this 5-hectare area, visitors can enjoy an art festival that is held from June to July.
