Streets
in Malang Paris Van East Java is a favorite tourist destination in
eastern Java. There are many locations that can be visited in the city, which, unexpectedly, the atmosphere and weather remind me of my beloved
city of Bandung. Visiting Malang, East Java, is incomplete if you
don't explore the tourist cities around it.
Picking Apples in Batu
When
you remember Malang, you must remember the typical green apples. There
are many apple-picking tours in Batu City. The taste of poor apples is
indeed different from imported apples, which taste a mixture of sour
and sweet. On an apple-picking tour, Menong's friends can pick and eat as much as they want or can buy kilos of apples directly picked
by themselves. Even though the price of a kilo of apples is relatively more
expensive when compared to other places, it is the sensation of picking
the apples yourself that makes the difference.

Transport Museum
The second destination is the Angkut Museum. If Menong's friends imagine that museums are not suitable as
tourist destinations... hmmmm... it seems like Menong's friends should stop by this Transport Museum.
The
3.8-hectare area, which was opened in 2014, has become another favorite
destination in East Java. Museum Angkut is a mixed indoor and outdoor
arena that can be a means of transportation education. So Menong's
friends must prepare a raincoat or umbrella when visiting in the rainy
season.
Malang Culinary
Apart
from apple chips, President's meatballs (of course there's no such
thing as 'Malang meatballs' in Malang) are one of the must-visit
culinary delights for Malang meatball fans like me. And it's not
official to have traveled to Malang if you haven't enjoyed the sensation
of eating meatballs on the outskirts of the railroad tracks. Almost
every 10 minutes, the train passes right next to the meatball stall
because the tracks are right in front of the stall. The taste of the
meatballs is almost similar to the poor meatballs that are usually found
in the city of Bandung. The difference seems to be grilled meatballs
and offal.

There are still many typical Malang foods that are worth trying. It's just that for Bolangers who abstain from spicy food—I'm one of them—of course, you have to be a little vigilant because the spicy taste dominates traditional East Javanese foods such as rawon and salad cingur.
And for the record, don't order the wrong 'tea' at a restaurant. It's different in Sundanese land, in Malang, when bolangers order 'tea,' which means sweet tea will be served.
If
there is a chance, God willing, I will be back traveling in Malang,
Paris, and East Java, remembering an appointment to meet someone that I
didn't have time to fulfill.
