Bigland Hotel Bogor review I dedicate this to Menong friends who need a place to stay in the Bogor city area.
Location: Bigland Hotel
Bigland Hotel Bogor is located on Jl. Ciheuleut, RT.01/RW.04, Tegallega, Central Bogor Subdistrict, Bogor City. Do not exchange Bigland Bogor Hotel International and Convention Hall, which is located not so far from Bigland Hotel Bogor. To facilitate, Bigland Bogor is located at the alternative door of the Faculty of Engineering of Pakuan University Bogor, while Bigland Bogor Hotel International and Convention Hall is behind the Bogor PMI Hospital
The location of the Bigland Hotel is somewhat hidden, but from a distance, the large writing of BIGLAND looks striking. When Menong’s friends carry a lot of stuff, online transportation options are recommended. We were waiting at the Trans Pakuan Cidangan Stop that was not far from Day Trans.
The hotel lobby is located in the basement area and is not clearly visible from the outside. The lobby seems not too wide because it is different from the hotel lobby in general, which has a very high ceiling. There are not many guest seats available in the lobby, so we have to be patient standing when the receptionist serves guests in large numbers.
The lobby area seems gloomy because the lighting and ventilation are not so bright. Guest elevators are located in a lobby area that is not so wide that
Guests in large numbers will give the impression of tightness.
The plus is the lobby door right on the roadside of the vehicle so that guests who carry a lot of goods will find it easier to lower goods directly into the lobby. The minus is the queue of the vehicle will not be avoided if the passenger's rate when lowering goods tends to be slow.
Bigland Hotel Bogor Room
Bigland is a 4-star hotel that has 10 types of rooms with a curbed area of 20–48 m². Zauji and I got a deluxe king room with an area of 24 m². Room facilities consist of work desks and chairs, TVs with various channels, tables for storing suitcases, refrigerators and mini bar tables, and wardrobes of a large enough size.
Showers and hair dryers are available in the bathroom. Design a wooden light brown room with orange decoration on the bed that makes the room look spacious. There is space on the left and right of the bed, which makes us free to move. Unfortunately, there is no carpet that usually makes Zauji feel at home for activities on the floor. Even with a sofa that is not in the room we choose.
Room rates at Bigland Hotel Bogor range from Rp. 400,000 (standard room without breakfast) to Rp. 1,800,000 (executive suite with breakfast). Looking at the location, the area of the rooms, and the facilities, I think this hotel offers a relatively cheap price compared to other hotels in the Pajajaran Street area.
I gave a rating of 5/5 for the room.
Restaurants
Resto Bigland Hotel Bogor is located 2 floors above the lobby. The restaurant is very large with maximum lighting, making anyone feel at home.
The first time I set foot in the restaurant, I was gobsmacked by the sheer number of foods. Each corner of the hotel serves a different menu from the main meal at the middle table: various porridge, salads, sushi, various soto/sop, bread and pastry of various variants, ice cream, traditional ice such as cendol and others, various cakes, Western food, Arabian food, Asian food, and more. Not only are the standard variants presented, but also other variants that are very rare that we find in other hotels.
It tastes like all the food that is served has a taste of wah, aka enaaak. If I don’t remember the promise to limit my food intake, of course, I will be hungry for my eyes because I can’t help but refrain. It just so happens that our activities are indeed located in this hotel, so we get lunch and dinner. Usually the lunch and dinner menu will be less than the breakfast menu.
Surprisingly, the lunch and dinner menu turned out to be as much as was served at breakfast. Surely Menong's friends can imagine how much food is served.
There's a funny story from one of our friends. Because there are too many foods, of course we choose which menu is near us first. And we missed enjoying fresh pizza from the oven at dinner (this is the original oven in the restaurant) and intend to choose it at lunch the next day. And it turns out that every day the food menu is different, so we have to bite the finger because it does not get the time to taste the pizza.
I gave a rate of 10/5 for the Bigland Hotel Bogor 😍 resto.
Other Facilities
Although the outdoor pool is located next to the restaurant, Menong's friends do not need to fill because the pool is separate from the main room of the restaurant, and there are only some guests who choose seats near the pool.
When we got out of the hotel to find food in the surrounding area, we only realized there was a connecting bridge that separated the hotel from the surrounding settlement, making the path to the hotel from the direction of Jalan Pajajaran, impressed away from the crowd
Menong's
friends can find the nearest rice stall in the campus area of Pakuan
University, which is located not far from the Bigland Hotel Bogor, with
student prices. Menong and friends can enjoy the beautiful city of Bogor
from the Roof Garden on the rooftop, the 22nd floor. On this floor there is
also a Sky Cafe Koersi that you can use for casual events with Menong friends.
