The
long holiday at the end of the year has finally arrived. For Menong
friends from outside Bandung or Bandung residents who do not want to go
anywhere, tourism in the city of Bandung can be an interesting choice.
Museum
As
the provincial capital, Bandung certainly has many historical places as well as educational places and tourism. Not only suitable for adults,
Menong friends can also invite children/nephews to visit the nearest
museum. In general, this museum is managed by the government so that
admission tickets are very affordable.
Menong's
friends can start from the state building area as the center of
government. Not far from Gedung Sate, there are two museums that can be
visited, namely the Geological Museum and the Indonesian Pos Museum.
The Geological Museum on Jl. Diponegoro No. 57, Cihaur Geulis, Kec. Cibeunying Kaler, Bandung City, is a museum
that many students visit to learn about history from prehistorical to
modern history. In this museum, Menong’s friends can see replicas of
dinosaur skeletons or ancient humans in earthquake simulators. Menong
friends who come to the group do not need to worry about the available
parking space because usually the bus can be parked along Jalan
Diponegoro.
In
the Post Museum, Jalan Cilaki Number 73, Bandung City, Menong's friends
can see the history of the postal world that we may not know much about. We
will reminisce about the era of mail delivered by the postal pack,
complete with his bike. This museum is still in the same area as Gedung Sate
and is right across from the Elderly Park, one of the favorite parks of Bandung residents.
Another
museum that a Menong friend can choose is the Asian-African
Conference Museum on Jalan Asia Afrika, not far from Bandung. The museum
presents information and relics of the 1955 Asian-African Conference.
We will be invited to venture with the grandeur of the conference that
unites countries in the Asian and African regions. This museum is
located in the heart of Bandung, which is known as a variety of superhero cosplay, from superheroes to superhantu.
Other
museums are located not far from Tegalega Square: Sri Baduga Museum is located on Jl. BKR No. 185, Protector of Animals, Kec. Astaanyar,
Bandung. This museum presents a collection of artifacts,
paintings, and historical objects that reflect the richness of Sundanese
culture and history. Hmm, of course this is important for Sundanese in
order to know the roots of Sundanese culture that are sometimes missed in
school.
Another
museum that can be visited is the Museum of Mandala Wangsit Siliwangi
on Jl. Lembong No. 38, Braga, Kec. Sumur Bandung, Bandung City, which
is a museum owned by Kodam III Siliwangi that holds many historical
relics of the struggle for Indonesian independence, especially in the West area.
Do not forget to visit other museums, such as the Museum of Indonesia Suiting and the Radio Museum of the Republic of Indonesia.
Kiara Artha Park
Kiara
Artha Park is a city park located on Jl. Banten, Kebonwaru, Kec.
Batununggal, Bandung City, not far from the intersection of Antapani and Kiaracondong. The park was only inaugurated in 2019.
This
area was originally a factory and dense settlement that became a source
of congestion. This area of 13 hectares is located in an area that is
rarely glimpsed as a tourist destination. Menong's Friend can make the
Antapani Intersection or Kiaracondong Railway Station a benchmark.
By
paying a ticket for Rp.10,000, Menong's friends can enjoy the beauty of
this modern park. Unfortunately, this ticket does not apply when Menong's
friends want to enjoy other rides. Other tickets, such as bicycle/scooter/go-cart/tank rental, are priced at Rp. 20,000–Rp. 80,000 per 30
minutes. Not to mention the game rides, so prepare the extra wallet fill,
yes!
The
main attractions in this park are dancing fountains. This park does not have many large trees that are shady, so the air is quite hot before noon. Menong friends can enjoy the
culinary in the tentant available.
Bandros
Bandung
Tour on Bus, or known as Bandros, is a tourist bus around the city of
Bandung initiated by Mayor Ridwan Kamil at the beginning of his
leadership. Bandros serves historical tours by starting across from the Geological Museum or opposite the pendopo of the Mayor of Bandung,
on Jalan Dalem Kaum (right opposite the Bandung Square).
Bandros
operates every day from 08.00 to 16.00 WIB with a ticket price of Rp.
20,000. Bandros will go when the passengers reach a minimum of 20
people. Along the way, the new friend will be guided by a guide who
describes every area/building that is passed.
Undeniably,
Bandros is often a tourist prima donna in the city of Bandung, which
travels in groups. And it's not strange that in this one colorful bus
unit, Menong's friend sees a community of mothers or students who appear
neat in uniform.
