If
you visit and intend to stay in the city of Cimahi, West Java, there
are not many hotels that a friend of Menong can choose. Valore Hotel
Cimahi seems to be one of the four hotels that Menong’s friends can
choose.
Location of Valore Hotel Cimahi
Valore
Hotel Cimahi is located on Jl. Baros No. 57, Building, Kec. Cimahi Sel.,
Cimahi City, West Java 40533, in The Edge area. Not far from the
toll gate of Baros, Valore Hotel Cimahi can see Menong's friends from a
distance when passing on the Padalarang-Cileunyi toll road.
Valore
is the only hotel in Cimahi City. In the blue app, there are two names
of The Edge, which are both displayed as apartments. Yup, actually the
Valore Hotel area is integrated with the apartment. So no wonder the feel of the hotel in general will not be friends with Menong.
The
Valore Hotel receptionist is on the ground floor, in the form of a
medium-sized room with a minimalist reception desk. Not far from the
reception there is an elevator, a lobby with seating for guests, gym
facilities, a swimming pool entrance, and a mini cafe that sells snacks and
coffee.
Security
attendants usually stand guard near the elevator and will ask the guest
the room number to be addressed. Do not expect too much with a
beautiful hotel concept with a unique design because the Valore Hotel is
designed as a regular apartment that certainly has a simple design.
The
condition of the hallway also looks gloomy without sufficient lighting.
Upstairs, Menong's friend can feel a pretty strong gust of wind coming
from ventilation holes at some point as we walk in the hallway of the
room.
Valore Hotel Room
Rooms
in the Valore Hotel seem to be adapted to the concept of an apartment. Room
size ranges from 18 to 36 m², with a minimum rate of Rp. 300,000,
including cheap hotel rates. The first room I chose was the Family
Suite type because Zauji and I took Zauji's mother and one of the
nephews to stay at a rate of Rp. 580,000, which includes breakfast for 3 pax
.
This 36 m²-sized room is a themed apartment studio equipped with one double bed
and one single bed (two beds are without legs so we can put them together),
medium-sized wardrobes, long tables to store goods, sofas, refrigerators,
and sinks that I initially thought were a kitchen set.
The
size of the room is spacious enough to make us free to move, including
congregational prayers. There are not many wall hangings, but the room
feels homey because of enough lighting. Wood-patterned bed floors with
higher floors than the sofa area make Mother Zauji have to be extra
careful every step.
The
second room we chose is a different type of Deluxe Double with an area
of 36 m². There was only one bed with legs that creaked as we
sat on it. There is a long table under the TV, a workbench, a mini fridge, a sink, and a long table in the Japanese style not far from the bed. The lighting of
this room is not as bright as the Family Suite type and is helped by a
window that is along the wall facing the parking lot next to the
building.
There are many channels with exciting movies in the TV room that make Menong’s friends not bored if you want to watch all day.
The
bathroom of each room seems to be minimalist with an elongated shape
equipped with a shower. The hotel provides amenities and towels. Each
room has its own electric meter. When Mager, Menong's friend, can buy a
snack in Yomart, available on the ground floor not far from the
reception.
I gave a rating of 4/5 for the room.
Restaurants
The
hotel's restaurant is on the ground floor, on the front right facing
the street (even ahead of the reception and lobby area). In terms of
size, this restaurant is quite spacious with an ordinary interior. The
menu is also not special. There is only a main menu: milk, bread, fruit,
and peanut porridge with a glass of mineral water.
In
terms of taste, I give a super B value only. Chicken flour or fish
flour is served as the only main side dish that I think is not right to be served as a hotel breakfast menu.
Rate for resto 3/5.
Menong's
friends also can't order a menu outside of breakfast hours because
Valore Hotel Cimahi does not have a restaurant. Among friends who
intend to order lunch and dinner, there must be a minimum of 20 pax.
Other Facilities
The guest parking lot is integrated with the parking lot of the apartment occupants in the form of an open ground field that certainly makes the vehicle directly exposed to sunlight or rainwater. Especially
the motorcycle; sometimes the parking area is full, making Zauji have to
shift other motorcycles in order to slip our Bet motorcycle.
Menong friends can also use laundry services on the ground floor.
The
plus of the Valore Hotel Cimahi is the presence of a beautiful outdoor
swimming pool that is protected from other guests because the pool area is
separate from other areas. Although the air around Baros is sometimes
cold, there are still guests swimming in the afternoon.
Menong
friends can hunt culinary around the hotel from five feet to cafes or
restaurants. Zauji herself invited me to eat at one of the cafes, DK
Resto, which is in a residential complex right across from the Valore Hotel
Cimahi. The price was good, and it tasted good. Zauji has long visited this
restaurant when he was single and intends to one day invite his wife
here when he is married.
Valore
Hotel Cimahi is easy to reach because it is in a strategic location, 10
minutes from Cimahi station, close to the toll gate of Baros, and accessible to public
transportation from various departments, and it offers ease of online
transportation.
