The Padjajaran Suite Hotel Bogor Review - Just Menong

 

In addition to Bandung and Cianjur, Bogor became one of the cities of memories because the family of the mother comes from this rainy city. In November 2022, I again visited Buitenzorg, the name of Bogor in the Dutch colonial era. This time I will do a Review Padjadjaran Suite Hotel Bogor or the Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel, where we stay.

A departure from Bandung

For this opportunity, I departed from Bandung to Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel without Zauji. Agreeing to use public transportation, we finally looked for info on some of the modes of transportation available.

The first choice is certainly a bus between cities. Boss majors majoring in Bogor from Bandung City can be friends of Menong, chosen at the terminal of Leuwipanjang Bandung. Most of them are AC buses. Menong friends can choose MGI or Bela Utama Bus with a rate of Rp. 90,000. This AC bus will take the route via Cikunir Toll Road so that the travel time becomes shorter, about 4 hours. The AC bus via Cikunir will end at the Baranangsiang Terminal just across the Jagorawi Baranangsiang Toll Gate.

Another option of AC Economics majoring in Tasikmalaya-Jakarta ('Do') or majoring in Garut-Jakarta ('Blessedow'). Friends can Menong ride in the Padalarang area (right in the turn of the New City of Parahyangan, West Bandung Regency is not far from the Padalarang Toll Gate) with a rate of Rp.75,000 with a route through Puncak Pass so that the travel time cannot be predicted depending on traffic conditions (can be 7 hours). Of course, Menong’s friends must stop in the Ciawi area to continue the trip to Bogor City.

It’s just that these two options I cannot take because from the review of Padjajaran Suite Hotel Bogor, this hotel is located far from the Baranangsiang terminal and of course I have to choose a travel pool that is close to the hotel to make it easier because of the many items that I have to bring along.

The next option falls on Bandung Bogor. Of the various travel options, most travel pools end up in Bogor Trade Mall or BTM. There is one trip that serves door-to-door that is Aragon Transport but with an estimated time of 6 hours, I prefer other travel.

Finally I found one travel Bandung–Bogor that ended up in Bogor Nirwana Residence (BNR), Sinar Jaya Shuttle. Pool Sinar Jaya Shuttle is located in Bandung Trade Center (BTC). Pasteur Rate Bandung - Bogor Nirwana Residence Rp. 130,000. There is no official pool in the BNR area. There is only one small counter located near the BNR pujasera so that Menong's friends can wait for the invitation to enjoy the culinary dish.

Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel is a 5-minute drive by motorbike or car from the Sinar Jaya Shuttle BNR pool.

Location

Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel or better known as Pajajaran Suite Hotel Bogor, is a top 4-star hotel in the city of Bogor. Located in Bogor Nirwana Residence, precisely on Jl. Bogor Inner Ring Road Lot. XIX C-2 No. 17, Bogor Nirwana Residence, Bogor, West Java, Indonesia, 16132, this hotel offers many interesting facilities for Menong friends who plan to spend time in the city of Bogor.

Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel is often confused with Padjadjaran Hotel, located at Jl. Pajajaran No. 17, Warung Jambu, North Bogor, Bogor, Indonesia, 16153, because the name is very similar. No wonder the two are in the shade of the same company.

Because I did not know the road, I chose the wrong destination point, so the Grab car drove to Padjadjaran Hotel on Jl. Pajajaran. Alhamdulillah, after just a few meters, I realized the direction that was addressed was opposite from the initial instructions so that the driver was spinning in direction.

Located in the Bogor Nirwana Residence area, the first impression I get is, of course, the hotel I went to will be very interesting because it is in a luxury area. Unfortunately, the location is far from the crowd and there is no public transportation access except private vehicles or online transportation, which makes making friends difficult if you want to shop at the minimarket or look for the nearest culinary.

So provide enough provisions so as not to have to bother leaving the hotel if you need something. Thank God when I got off the trip, I saw a row of food courts and minimarkets.

Room Options

From the reference search, Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel has an area of about 4,000 square meters (wide yaaa!) with eight floors of buildings designed in a modern minimalist style.

Opened since 2012, the hotel belongs to the category of four-star hotels with a capacity of 119 rooms consisting of 59 superior-type rooms, 25 deluxe, 29 executive, and 6 royal suites.

The lowest room rental rate for Superior Twin Room Only is priced at kurleb Rp. 900,000 without breakfast and the highest room rental rate for Executive is kurleb Rp. 1,900,000 with breakfast. These rates certainly vary. Menong friends can get a much lower price in the low season or on a weekday.

The smallest room size in Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel for Superior Twin Room Only has an area of 22 m². Hmmm, I think it's quite spacious and comfortable.

Room facilities consist of air conditioning, free bottled drinking water, a tea/coffee maker, a TV, a table, a safe, and a bathroom with shower facilities, hot water, toiletries, and a hair dryer (this is what I like).

I myself get an Executive room with an area of 33 m² plus extra space (very spacious, especially because the position is in the interconnecting room so there is additional space again). Located on the 6rd floor, the view I got was the front page of the hotel and the view of Bogor Nirwana Residence, which is beautiful with a lot of large land and trees that I can see from behind the big window.

To be honest, I like the rooms and facilities in it. One double bed, sofa and guest table, cable TV that offers a wide range of domestic and overseas channels, wardrobes, dressing tables, and tables for storing suitcases, plus a simple design shaded green and brown that is elegantly comfortable in the eyes.

The empty area is also very wide so that I am free to move, spread the prayer mats to move around or just lesehan below (which of course does not need to be done because there is a sofa available). Most importantly, ventilation and light are sufficient except for the bathroom area, which gets light from lamps that tend to be dim.

WiFi facilities are also well connected even when surfing in the room.

Restaurants

Restoran Padjadjaran Restaurant Suites Resort & Convention Hotel is located side by side with the lobby. There are two parts of the restaurant, namely the outdoor area that is directly opposite the pool in the one-story area below and the indoor place where the main menu is presented adjacent to the shortcut to the elevator.

The menu and taste of food are some of the things that become the attraction of a hotel. In my personal opinion, the menu and the taste of food in this hotel tend to be mediocre, including the main buffet menu. Sometimes the dish has not been served completely and warmly, like chicken porridge, even though the time has shown at 06.00 WIB or more.

Similarly, with a variety of cakes, bread, and pastries, there are not many choices that can be tried, Menong's friends. I myself only tasted croissant on the second day of 5 days of night at Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel.

Menong's friends can taste fried foods directly. This is one of the pluses because the fry is impromptu and tastes good. In addition to herbal medicine, ginger wedang, and various sweets that are always there, maybe Padjadjaran Suites Hotel & Conference is the only hotel that serves instant noodles in breakfast dishes.

Although it is very rare to make Ind*m*e a breakfast menu, finally I and Zauji, who caught up with me on the last day, also did because 'cabita' saw friends eating Ind*m*e gravy plus eggs, whose scents seduced the soul.

For friends who are Menong coffee lovers, this hotel restaurant provides a special coffee cafe that can be ordered outside the free breakfast service. Guests who do not get a free breakfast can pay Rp.135,000 per person.

Unlike the case with the menu that Menong's friends choose as lunch or dinner, it tastes much more different because the taste is stronger and tastier. Menong's friends can also order tektek noodles made directly by the chef. Do not forget to order soto meat or typical Sundanese cuisine that tastes super good.

Other Facilities

Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel is perfect for families. Children can play in a play area that has been provided specifically or swim in a children's or adult swimming pool with adequate facilities. Although many dry leaves fall, the swimming pool is quite clean because it is often cleaned.

Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel is also suitable for business purposes. Ballrooms and meeting rooms and equipped with super spacious parking lots can be the best choice. Ballrooms and meeting rooms are in a different building with rooms for hotel guests.

Unfortunately, access to the building is not practical because it can only be reached by elevator through a gas storage area that is only intended for employees (not comfortable for hotel guests because the area tends to be dark and quiet) or from the lobby / restaurant down to the swimming pool area that is outdoors even though there is a hall that shades guests from the rain.

In addition, Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel provides a special room for Friday prayers for employees and guests (which is very rare in other hotels), fitness centers, and table tennis. Friday prayers were held on the second floor of the ballroom building.

Overall, the results of the review of Padjajaran Suite Hotel Bogor or Padjadjaran Suites Resort & Convention Hotel can be said as one of the hotels that have interesting facilities, especially for Menong friends who intend to heal away from the city's fancies.
